6:00 pm Presentation: Ann Acrey/ Gay American History from the 40's to the Present
Much has happened in LGBT America since many of us grew up. There have been marches, lawsuits, demonstrations and the occasional riot. Who was really at Stonewall that night? How did there come to be PRIDE celebrations? What did AIDS do to our movement? Where are we now and where are we going?All this and more in an hour presentation. Hope to see you there!
Ann Acrey is a psychologist who loves history, she worked in research for the Headstart Program at University of Hawai, she is currently a PFLAG Taos Board member.
